Submitting a Complete GC
First:
Proofread! Remember, your work on GCs will not be proofed by anyone else, even if you are submitting as a partial. That means what you submit will likely be sent to the client as-is, and must be your best quality work. Read through (either while you type or after you finish) and check for proper punctuation, speaker labeling, etc. Double check client instructions and word lists to make sure they have been used appropriately.
SpellCheck
Don’t forget to run SpellCheck, even if you are just submitting a partial!
Second:
In order to be flagged correctly in the system and for you to get paid at the GC pay rate, you must check the Group Conversation box before submitting. Failure to do so can cause the client’s bill and your pay to be calculated incorrectly, and requests for pay adjustments may be denied.
Help Ticket
If you realize after submitting that you did not check the GC box on the submission page, please immediately open a Help Ticket so the Help Desk can catch the issue as soon as possible. If the error is not caught before the job has been billed to the client, your pay will not be adjusted to the GC rate, so it is extremely important to double check that the job is submitted properly in order to be paid the appropriate rate.
