Blank Documents
There is a known issue that occurs with TypeEasy when certain conditions of Microsoft Word are not met. If you are informed that your training jobs and/or live jobs are coming through blank, follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
Do not do any more work! If one document comes through blank, they likely all will. Do not keep working in hopes that they start coming through.
If you are already a typist, please email contractor.support@speakwrite.com and have them set you back to trainee. That way, after following all of the steps listed below, you can submit a training job with a few words typed into it to test to see if your issue is fixed.

Go through the installation checklist in Online Help, as well as the Required Computer Settings to ensure your computer/settings are correct. TypeEasy is pretty particular about how your computer must be set up in order to work properly.
Ensure you are running Office in 32-bit (and not 64-bit). For more information on how to do this, go to https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/how-do-i-change-from-64-bit-to-32-bit/fa7d031b-37fb-4004-868e-86dc152ff989.
Review your Installed Program list for “Starter” or “Trial versions of Word. If you find either of these versions, uninstall them. Our software does not work with Starter or Trial versions of Word. A fully-licensed and downloaded copy must be installed on your computer.
Hint: Most new computers come with a starter/trial version of Word pre-installed, so this is a common culprit of the blank document issue.
If you’re using Office 365, please ensure that it is downloaded to your computer, as our software is not compatible with the web/streaming version. Once you have followed all of these steps and believe you have resolved the issue, please attempt to submit a training job through TypeEasy. Just type a few words into one of the jobs and submit as complete. Then send an email to contractor.support@speakwrite.com, informing us that your documents were coming through blank and you have submitted a training job to test if the issue is resolved. We will then check your test job and let you know if the text is visible.
