titleVertical red bar/Track changes accidentally turned on

Track changes is never used in SpeakWrite work, so there isn’t an option for it on the TypeEasy toolbar. However, a certain keyboard command does occasionally turn it on by accident. When this happens, you’ll see a vertical red bar like in the image below. Turn it off by using the shortcut ctrl+shift+E.

Note: If the red bar remains after using that shortcut, you may need to “accept” the previous changes before it’ll go away. Click the red bar to show the changes highlighted in the document. Right click on them to select Accept Change. Once you’ve accepted all changes, the red bar should go away and should not continue to appear. If it does, be sure to hit ctrl+shift+E again before typing any more.

  • Added Clipboard access – click the blue Clipboard button to see a list of the last 20 items you’ve copied. Easily paste them into your document over and over again as needed by opening the Clipboard and clicking Paste.

    • Only last 20 items copied will appear here.

    • Only items copied from within TypeEasy will appear here.

    • If you leave the Clipboard open while copying new items, you will need to close and reopen Clipboard before new items will appear.

    • Please share your feedback on this new feature! We can easily make some tweaks to how it works if there is missing functionality.

  • Fixed issue with GC Typists being misidentified on GC job history.

  • Fixed issue with partials marked as requiring proofing when proofing isn’t actually required.
