Due to internet streaming auto-play rules, the software requires you to manually click play on the audio at least once before allowing the foot pedal to control it. Upon loading a new job, click the play button once, and then you will be able to use your foot pedal for the rest of the job. |

Track changes is never used in SpeakWrite work, so there isn’t an option for it on the TypeEasy toolbar. However, a certain keyboard command does occasionally turn it on by accident. When this happens, you’ll see a vertical red bar like in the image below. Turn it off by using the shortcut ctrl+shift+E.  |

Sometimes, the built in autocorrects may conflict with something you want to type. For instance, sometimes words are auto-capitalized when you do not wish them to be. Simply use ctrl+Z to undo the autocorrect and return it to what you originally typed. |
